MowTech Forage H720

Four rotating discs, a spout that aims where you point it.

The Forage H720 is a self-propelled forage harvester. A four-disc row-independent head sweeps material off the ground at the front, and a tall articulated spout throws it clear at the back. It is the most mechanically interesting machine MowTech builds.

The head is the whole point

• Four-disc rotary head. Independent spinning discs pull material in regardless of which direction it is lying. The head detaches from the body for storage and transport.
• Articulated discharge spout. The tall gooseneck spout swivels and the deflector flap at the tip angles up or down, so you choose where the output lands.
• Heavy front drive axle. Deep-lug tires on the powered front axle with a narrower steering axle behind, the drivetrain layout the real machines use.
• Detailed cab and access. Glazed cab with interior, roof beacons, mirrors, handrails and a boarding ladder.
• Ventilated engine deck. Molded intake grilles and a mesh engine cover across the rear body.
• Proportional 2.4GHz control. Drive, steer and work the head and spout from a single transmitter.

Why it stands out on a shelf

Most RC farm machines are tractors. This one is not. The proportions are strange and aggressive, the spout gives it height, and the head is unlike anything else in the category. If you already own a mower or two, the H720 is the one that makes the collection look deliberate.
