What this covers

This policy explains what personal information mowtech.store collects, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you visit the store we automatically receive your device and browser type, your approximate location from your IP address, and how you move through the site. When you place an order we collect your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number if you give one, and your payment confirmation. We never receive your full card number; that goes directly to our payment provider.

Why we use it

To take and deliver your order, to send you order and shipping updates, to answer your emails, to detect fraud, and to understand which parts of the site work and which do not. If you opt in, we also use your email address to send you marketing. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email with the link at the bottom of it.

Who we share it with

Shopify, which hosts this store; our payment providers; our shipping and fulfilment partners, who need your address to deliver your order; and our analytics providers. We do not sell your personal information.

International transfers

We are based in France and use service providers in the United States and elsewhere, so your information may be processed outside your country of residence.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the EU or the UK you also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority. If you are a California resident you have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of your information. Write to the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
